Welcome, Goya – a foal with a story
Some combinations seem almost predestined. Like this one: our champion mare Bibi Resto Cazador, a powerful and beautiful Pintaloosa with pronounced Appaloosa characteristics, became pregnant effortlessly with the impressive F. Numero Uno – a stallion that, as a foal and as a yearling, received the Golden Star predicate at the inspection.
The pregnancy went smoothly, the birth was serene and flawless—just as every breeder hopes and dreams. And the result? A breathtaking colt: Goya. He enchants with his elegant, refined build, fine legs, and perfect balance. A young stallion with a regal appearance and a friendly character – playful, curious, and healthy.
Goya was born with a dark coat, but his Appaloosa heritage is already showing: white hairs are slowly peeking through his black coat. It's clear: he'll continue to color. And as his name suggests, he has something artistic, something special—a foal that stands out and moves.
His name Goya not only suits his appearance, but also fits wonderfully well Moya, a contemporary foal who was also born in Oldeberkoop in early 2025. Two foals, related by name and birthplace.
But there's something else special. When registering Goya with the EFS, we discovered something that left us speechless:
Three foals, by three different stallions – and yet all born on the same day. We didn't plan for this. It seems like a coincidence, but feels like something greater. A whisper of nature, a sign of harmony. And time and again, Bibi gives us new life on that one, special date.
We're amazed. We're grateful. And above all, we're in love with this beautiful foal.
